Anime / Manga Influence

In my own experience anime and manga have been culturally significant factors. Anime was readily introduced to my childhood via Cartoon Network's Toonami. This medium persisted through middle school enabling a slew of inspiring works to reach me.

As many in the class I am an Artist and amine' as you know has influenced a number of us to further partake, perhaps you could say it has coaxed us into the field of art via a simplified and friendly replicable aesthetic. Certainly this nature is vilified by our professors, despite the credibility at it's essence; the ability to inspire and welcome artists. It serves as a catalyst for may and for that, it should be praised.

Faces are generally abstracted to such a manner as to provide simplicity and efficiency of emotive relation. Bodies and anatomy, although exaggerated in some instances, remain largely true to life, in terms of their didactic natures at least this much can be related to reality.

In Neon genesis Evangelion, one of the more resplendent amines to have graced my junior-high years, industrial design and anatomically correct forms are prevalent. As an artist and designer in current day, I view this series in retrospect as one of the many stepping stones that via increment brought me to where I am today.
